He was also the proud father of two daughters — Alicia and Natasha, and a grand-daughter, Bailie.
The disorder causes muscle weakness and atrophy throughout the body caused by the degeneration of the upper and l ower motor neurons. Unable to function, the muscles weaken and atrophy. Rocky was born and grew up in Wellington, New Zealand.

Rocky had a long term love affair with the United States and its history. He visited the country around 50 times over 35 years, indulging his passion for almost all things American, particularly the Civil War.
